Nestled quietly in the rafters of the Craft Centre, just waiting to be discovered, you can find the Attic Gallery. Opened in 2012, it features bespoke artwork created by established artists and emerging talent. With a passion for all things beautiful and creative,we exhibit a vibrant collection of local artwork in many different styles and mediums.

Come and visit us to browse our range of original paintings, limited edition prints, wooden sculptures, hand-crafted ceramics,illustrated greetings cards and other unique items. We are the perfect place to find that perfect gift for someone special, be it yourself or a loved one.

We occasionally have vacancies for new artists and makers to exhibit their work in the Gallery.

Enjoy a freshly cooked breakfast,
lunch or afternoon tea

The restaurant at the Craft Centre has been serving home produced foods for over 30 years. Totally refurbished in 2018, our restaurant and conservatory offer an attractive and comfortable setting with free wifi throughout.

Our breakfast menu is available from 10am - 11.30am, with freshly cooked dishes such as; eggs benedict, traditional breakfast or porridge.

For lunch, all our meals are homecooked from scratch, from soup, to quiche of the day, to hot main meals including a children’s menu. All created daily using fresh local produce.

Fine coffees and Dorset teas are served throughout the day alongside an excellent selection of cakes, with Dorset Cream Tea a speciality.

For a real treat indulge yourself with a scrumptious high tea, available between 2.30pm – 4.30pm (24hr notice required)

The Craft Centre is situated in the heart of West Dorset’s beautiful rolling countryside. Converted from redundant farm buildings in 1986, The Craft Centre is renowned for being the place to find that something unique and special.

The Craft Centre has a fantastic range of unusual gifts for all, which include: cosmetics, cards for all occasions, pens, jewellery, fashion & leather handbags, men’s gifts, gadgets, gardening gifts, linens, kitchen ware, craft kits, traditional and pocket money toys, stationary, china, glass, clocks, pictures, and much, much more...

We also have a fabulous selection of food offering superb: Jams, chutneys, preserves, handmade chocolates, country wines and ciders, and many locally sourced seasonal products.
